Photo Competition
The International Games 2010 committee has come up with a new sub-event, which is a photography competition. The main objective of having a sub-event is to spread the awareness of friendship in sports to a larger audience. This gives an opportunity for photography enthusiasts to showcase their skills in photo-taking and also to interact with other photographers and players, who come from different countries and cultures.
The photography competition will take place on the 1st day of the International Games 2010 event (30th January 2010).
Registration Rules
- First there is an online pre-registration for all the interested participants. The pre-registration closes at 11:59pm on the 29th January 2010. Click Here to register online.
- The pre-registered participants have to register themselves on the day of the competition and collect their name tags
- This competition is open to NTU students only
- Members of the IG 2010 Committee are not allowed to take part in this competition
Event Rules
- The photos have to relate to the sports events organized by the International Games event only. Photos pertaining to the opening ceremony will not be considered.
- Images may be digitally enhanced to remove spots or scratches, but not manipulated. Entrants can enhance the picture to make it brighter, clearer etc, but not manipulate the content. IG and the judges reserve the right to exclude any image they believe may have been excessively treated so as to alter its authenticity.
- The addition of any copyrights or watermarks is strictly forbidden
- Participants found to be disrupting the sports activities in any way as deemed by the IG organizing committee representatives will be immediately disqualified.
- The prize is as stated. There is no cash alternative and it cannot be sold or transferred.
- The IG does not provide cameras or any other equipment for this competition
- The IG reserves the right to modify or cancel any details pertaining to the competition without prior notification.
Submission Rules
- The submission of the photographs has to be done by 10pm on the day of the competition. Late entries will not be considered.
- The competitors have to submit 3 photos of their choice which meet the following criteria.
- JPEG format
- No more than 1 Mb per photo
